Equalizer
Ten bands, a preamp, and a live response curve — applied in the real audio graph, not a visual gimmick.
Using it
- Toggle the strip with the EQ button — the player window grows to make room.
- PRE is the preamp: overall gain before the bands, useful when heavy boosts start to clip or quiet recordings need lift.
- The ten bands cover 31 Hz to 16 kHz in octave steps — drag a slider and the change is instant.
- RESET flattens everything back to zero.
It remembers
The whole curve — bands and preamp — is part of your session and comes back exactly as you left it after a relaunch (Session restore).
Starting point: a gentle “smile” (low bass boost, flat mids,
slight treble lift) suits most small speakers; flat is best for good headphones.
