The short version: MACSONG collects no data. None.

The app

MACSONG runs entirely on your Mac. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no telemetry, no ads, and no tracking of any kind.
Your music files are played in place and are never copied, scanned for purposes other than playback, or transmitted anywhere.
Settings (playlist, equalizer, skin, playback position) are stored locally on your Mac and never leave it.
The app makes no network connections on its own. The only exception is if you explicitly click the “MACSONG Website” menu item, which opens this site in your browser.

In App Store terms: Data Not Collected.

The site is static and sets no tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics.
Our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) keeps standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, browser user agent) required to operate and secure the service, as any web host does.
If you send us a message through the feedback form or by email, we receive what you wrote and any contact details you chose to include. We use it only to respond, and share it with no one.
